I received my Master of Arts in Literature from Brigham Young University and have since worked with more than 1,000 students as a Writing and Literature instructor. In the process, I have devoted a significant amount of time to working one-on-one with students to help them develop their writing skills. I find it greatly rewarding when a student comes to me lacking confidence in his or her writing abilities, only to end up producing something he or she can take pride in. When that happens, the student approaches the next project with greater confidence and a stronger set of skills. As a tutor, I focus in the areas of Literature, Writing, Reading, and ACT Reading and Writing preparation. I enjoy Dickens, Steinbeck, and J.K. Rowling. It will probably come as no surprise that I love to write. I also play the piano, work out, and enjoy experimental cooking. When time allows, I'm always happy to travel with my family.
